Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use apply to your use of the YourQuoteApp website and platform.

YourQuoteApp is operated by Your Quote App Limited.

If you sign a separate customer subscription agreement, that agreement will also apply. If there is a conflict between these Terms of Use and a signed subscription agreement, the signed agreement should take priority for the subscription.

2. What YourQuoteApp does

YourQuoteApp provides software for bathroom fitters. It helps fitters collect customer quote information, generate quote PDFs, send customer emails, manage survey booking workflows and organise quoting activity.

YourQuoteApp provides software, starter templates and workflow tools. It does not act as the bathroom fitter, building contractor, surveyor or installer.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account, business, billing and contact details.

You are responsible for:

  • keeping login details secure;
  • making sure only authorised people use your account;
  • keeping your team access up to date;
  • telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access;
  • keeping your business details, VAT settings, pricing and quote wording accurate.

You must not share admin login details widely or allow unauthorised people to access the platform.

4. Customer quote responsibility

You remain responsible for your quotes, prices, services, discounts, VAT settings, survey terms and customer communications.

YourQuoteApp may provide starter templates and onboarding support, but you must review your setup before using your quote link with customers.

You should make clear to homeowners that any online quote is based on information provided and is subject to survey and confirmation.

YourQuoteApp is not responsible for incorrect quotes caused by your pricing setup, question setup, VAT settings, discounts, service configuration or manual changes.

5. Acceptable use

You must use the platform lawfully, professionally and only for legitimate bathroom quoting and related customer workflows unless we agree otherwise.

You must not:

  • use the platform for illegal, misleading or fraudulent quotes;
  • upload offensive, unlawful, irrelevant or harmful content;
  • collect personal information for unrelated purposes;
  • send spam or unlawful marketing through the platform;
  • misrepresent prices, VAT status, availability or business details;
  • try to access another customer's account or data;
  • interfere with the security, availability or integrity of the platform;
  • copy, scrape, resell or reverse engineer the platform;
  • remove required privacy, terms or legal wording from customer flows where it is needed;
  • use the platform for a competing software or template service.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your use creates legal, security, payment, reputational or operational risk.

6. Customer content and data

You own your business details, brand assets, customer data, uploaded files, pricing setup and custom content.

You grant YourQuoteApp permission to host, process, transmit, display and use that content as needed to provide, secure and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and use any content, images, logos, customer data or files you add to the platform.

7. YourQuoteApp intellectual property

YourQuoteApp owns the software, platform, product design, system workflows, generic templates, starter questionnaires, documentation and brand assets.

During an active paid subscription, you may use the starter templates and workflows inside the platform for your own bathroom fitting business.

You must not copy, publish, resell, reproduce or adapt YourQuoteApp templates, question structures, workflows or system design outside the platform or for a competing product or service.

8. Privacy and data protection

Your use of the platform must comply with applicable data protection law.

For homeowner quote data, you are usually the customer-facing controller because you decide why the information is collected and how it is used for quoting, surveys and jobs. YourQuoteApp usually acts as your processor by hosting and operating the software.

You must provide suitable privacy information to homeowners and respond to data protection requests where you are responsible for doing so.

The Data Processing Agreement forms part of the customer terms where YourQuoteApp processes personal data for you.

9. Fees, billing and taxes

Fees are set out in your subscription agreement, order form, signed proposal or checkout terms.

The current public price is £100 + VAT per month, equal to £120 per month including VAT, on a 12-month contract with no setup fee.

Payments are collected using Stripe unless we agree another method in writing.

You are responsible for paying all fees, VAT and other applicable taxes when due.

10. Availability

We work to keep YourQuoteApp available and running reliably, but we do not offer a formal uptime guarantee unless this is agreed in writing.

Planned maintenance may happen. Urgent live quote flow issues affecting quote links, emails, PDFs or survey bookings are prioritised.

The service may depend on third parties such as hosting, email providers, Stripe, DNS, calendar tools and internet providers.

11. Support

Support is available Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm UK time, excluding UK public holidays unless we agree otherwise.

We aim to respond within one working day.

Support does not include guaranteed custom development, legal advice, accounting advice, emergency out-of-hours cover or responsibility for your own business pricing decisions.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access if:

  • payment fails and remains unresolved;
  • you breach these terms;
  • your use creates security, legal or operational risk;
  • you misuse the platform or another person's data;
  • we need to protect the platform, other customers or homeowners.

When a subscription ends, access to the app and quote links stops unless we agree otherwise.

You may request an export of key business and customer data before closure where practical. YourQuoteApp templates, starter questionnaires, workflows and system design are not transferred when you leave.

13. Disclaimers

YourQuoteApp helps qualify and convert existing demand. It does not guarantee enquiries, website traffic, booked surveys, accepted jobs, revenue, profit or any particular business outcome.

Any case studies or examples are illustrative and results are not guaranteed.

The platform is provided with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YourQuoteApp is not liable for loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of goodwill, indirect loss, consequential loss or business interruption arising from use of the platform.

Any liability cap or additional commercial terms may be set out in your subscription agreement, order form or signed proposal.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms of Use as the product, law or business changes. We will publish the updated version and, where appropriate, notify customers of material changes.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless a signed customer agreement states otherwise.
